Schalmo Builders Inc. is a full-service contractor that builds affordable homes from 1000 SQ FT, to 1600 SQ FT. Our homes appeal to young couples for a starter home, handicapped, or retired couple wanting to down size.

Don Schalmo established the Company in 1958. At the onset, Schalmo built one to two homes per year
During the 1960's, the Company began land development to broaden its capabilities.
In 1981, a sluggish economy and slow residential housing market caused Schalmo to branch into Commercial Construction.
Ken Schalmo took control of the company's commercial development business in 1986.
Schalmo operates as a residential construction firm focusing on projects throughout northeast Ohio. Schalmo built 95 homes in 2005 in a four county area.
